I was very hesitant to read this one, because I really didn't like Monkey Beach. But I heard so much about it that I put it on hold at my library.
Then I was very hesitant to read it because it came right before Christmas and I suspected that someone had bought it for me as a Christmas gift.
Then I decided to try a couple chapters before bed, anyway.
