Absolutely love this amazing love story!
Really loved this novel. I’m not the age group demographic but heard such great things about it. Read it at the beginning of this crazy CV time period but regardless would love it. It has something in it that we can all relate to. My one con is that (not a spoiler) i don’t know that anyone, less two individuals, can fall in love from one look 👀 from a bus to the pavement. So i believe in love at first sight? Maybe. But through the window of a bus? Regardless it’s clever and charmingly written. B

The first 100 pages were hard to get through and the overall book could’ve done with a tight edit of a bunch of unnecessary and boring banter, but the plot kept me wondering how this would turn out. While the writing was a bit flat for me, there were a few insightful points that had me pause, and I was never quite sure how things would turn out.
Good solid chick lit. Likeable characters, a satisfying ending... a book I wanted to read to the end. If you are looking for something light, this is a good choice.

An unconventional modern day romance set in London. Chosen as part of Reese Witherspoon's book club, I can see a future film in the making for this story. It's realistic and enjoyable. Love is not a straight and narrow or an easy path as this book illustrates.

Absolutely charming! Loved it!
I did not like the main characters—especially the leading man. Horrible, unprincipled behavior and lots of language & sex. The pacing and storytelling was generally good, I just didn't like the story.

So good! The lead up was slow but fun, great characters and I loved the peek at the UK during the holidays. You may need some Kleenex for this one, got me in all the feels! #christmasread #botm
