I am sad to say that this really wasn't very good. I wanted it to be good. I really enjoyed the other (freebie) book I read by Ms Woodbury. This had potential. But ... no. It felt very hastily thrown together, very much as if the point was not to tell a story, but to fill an opening. And that is what it is, I guess. Someone asked her to write how it all began.
