It's probably not a good thing that I was reading this while we suffered a tragic death in our family. My husband read it immediately before me and absolutely raved about it, but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll reread it later. This was devastating. An absolute wide-eyed look at how mental illness can affect entire families. I think it's a really great book, beautiful and hard and moving, but I kind of wish I hadn't read it.
