A taut tale of a young boy in the summer of 1942 as his family is forcibly moved from the Polish countryside to the Warsaw Ghetto. I didn't really "like" this book--who can like a book about a young boy in the Warsaw Ghetto? It was well-written, however, and when I've recovered I'll write more.

Lots of books have been written about WWII and the Holocaust but not so many from a child's point of view. This is one such set in Poland that gives this viewpoint.
