This is a story that really had so many of the things I love about urban fantasy books. It had a sense of history, a unique world, action/adventure, family ties, love/loyalty. This is why the book kept me intrigued. But it wasn't a 5 star read because it almost had too much, sometimes I was completely lost in the book and just had to roll with it until I got to a place where I could start to understand again.
