I’m a Discworld fan, but this was rather weak. A young prince of the ancient kingdom of Djelibeybi is called back to fill the kingship. Trained by the assisin’s guild and used to the practical modern world of Ankh Morpok, Teppic, cheered on by the ghost of his royal father and inspired by the lovely handmaiden,Ptraci, shakes up the moribund kingdom for good. Lots of good double entendre and nonsense as always, but the plot and characters just didn’t grab me like most in this series.
