I was looking for something to distract me while traveling (nervous flyer) and this did the trick. The writing is frank, reporterly -- this isn't the kind of book you read to be bowled over by the prose, but the frank style works very well to keep this fast-paced story moving. I enjoyed this novel despite not caring too much about any of the characters. It's a mystery, so pretty engaging throughout the book. Loved the ending.

I think there was some really good suspense there. Especially at the beginning. The reveal of who did what was not as " shocking" as you mind expect or want out of a book like this. And once you know who did it, they just seem to give you all the answers all at once; in my mind making it too easy. I like the genre because I like to keep guessing. That's what keeps me turning the pages.
