What Members Thought
This is a tale based around a body of water called " the Drowning Pool" , so you already know where it is going. Spoiler alert: women tend to either suicide, accidentally fall in, or are murdered by being pushed in, going back to times when women were put in the water as a supposedly fair trial for being accused of witchcraft. The book follows the connections between some of the more recent victims, and builds to a whodunit at the end. Not spectacular, didn't live up to its hype for me. 3 stars
