What Members Thought

This book is excellent. It had a slow beginning for me but it picked up quickly. I graduated from high school in 1985 at the height of the AIDS epidemic and I remember the feelings of fear people had surrounding the virus. This book really shows the AIDS crisis through the eyes of two people living in Chicago. It's heartbreaking, breathtakingly beautiful, poignant, and very well written. I highly recommend it. Plus it was a National Book Award Finalist and a Pulitzer Prize finalist.
