What Members Thought
The use of the man's POV was * chef's kiss* . It's a bit overwritten with metaphors; I got annoyed when a bruise was compared to 3 different types of leaves, apparently that was intentional. I would have taken out the woman's POV to tighten it and give a stronger impact.
