this was a 3.5 read for me thoughts coming shortly
The blurb on the back of this book is very misleading. I thought this would be a thriller with a nanny becoming slowly creepier. Instead the very first sentence is "The baby is dead." Within the first paragraph it's revealed that both kids are murdered and the nanny is accused of killing them. That's horrible and I wanted to know why. Instead the book goes back to when the nanny was first hired and describes how perfect she seemed at first. Both parents are self centered and focused on their car

Depressing suspense tale that has been translated from French. Not for the highly sensitive. That said, interesting take on the relationships between employers and their domestic "help".

A scary short novel that will keep you up all night. The first page was intense and horrifying . I can’t recall being that terrified from a piece of literature like this one. Short read but it will haunt you for a while.
