What a beautiful heartwarming and heartbreaking story! A mist read for anyone especially cat lovers.

Obviously there’s a cat in this story and like all cats, he has his own attitude. He is s forward and cuts to the chase. Sometimes he is tolerant but only when he wants.

“At Satoru's urging, Noriko very timidly reached out a hand. If that didn't deserve a bite, I didn't know what did. However, I'm a grown-up cat and I restrained myself, so, everyone, feel free to shower me with praise.”
