Okay, super slow going in the beginning... I almost gave up. I'm glad I didn't. Once we got to the real story it was an intense page-turner. I really enjoyed this one minus the hockey :)

Reminded me of a Celeste Ng book in terms of structure. I mistakenly expected a light read but this was grim.
I wanted to like this book but, oh man, was it a struggle to read. There are 50 chapters and it only got interesting in the last third of the book and then only barely. Maybe if you're a hockey fan, you'll enjoy the love letter to hockey?
