I like the way Backman views the world. This is a little too long for a short story, but too long for a novella (the page count is 96, but half of that is an excerpt for Bear Town). To be honest I don't really know how to review this book, because it would spoil the story, so I will say this: it is a wonderful story, just what you would expect from Backman.

Too sad, but this author is always the best.
I loved A Man Called Ove and I’ve enjoyed several of his other books. I thought I’d give this “Christmas” story a try. Even though it has a tree and takes place that time of year, it isn’t a Christmas story at all.
I don’t want to give it away if you want to read it, but it has to do with death, not what happens where you die, but how you leave this world when you die. It’s a weird story that is mildly inspiring. 3 stars!
