What Members Thought
I read this back in June and haven't reviewed it until now. I started reading Roth Unbound last night and I thought about comparisons I've made in the past to Jewish and Mormon literature. Roth was the great assimilating novelist, but he was following in the footsteps of Bellow. Not to mention it was literature springing up out of the Holocaust. Makes Mormonism seem feeble by comparison -- maybe if great novels had been written as the Mormons were being driven out of Missouri, but that would be
