A fun, quick read (despite its many pages). I *did* notice that, like many of the readers here, I really preferred Eve's earlier, WWI sections to Charlie's post WWII sections. Eve propelled the novel for me. I'm trying to suss out why this was. Perhaps because Eve's sections are naturally more intrigue as they are the "spy" sections. There was another element, too...
