I couldn’t wait for the English translation of the third book in Lemaitre’s crime trilogy to come out in the U.S., so I just went ahead and bought the U.K. release. After gushing unequivocally about books #1 and #2, I really had not expected book #3 to be anything but excellent. Color me surprised.
