This is a delightful mystery, set in Sicily, with wonderfully quirky characters. When a young man who helps Poldi with things around her house, is murdered, and she discovers the body on a nearby beach, she feels she has to solve his murder. She befriends a detective, whom she thinks is very sexy, and hopes that together the two of the can solve the crime. Eventually, they do, but not in the ways she has hoped for.
