What Members Thought
Quite a disappointment, especially since I loved Pillars of the Earth and World Without End. The author phoned this one in, characters were "meh", could not form an attachment to them, the plot pretty much followed the whole Catholic/Protestant battles for control of France and England. A history lesson on every page, way too much information and too many names. Occasionally some bits of what the characters were going through were I enjoyed reading.
