Serial killer books are not my favorite sub-genre so this one is more of a struggle for me, but I'm a huge Connelly fan so I'm willing to stick with him. He works to pull together a wealth of storylines (up to and including a brief cameo by the protagonist of Void Moon) from prior books so it helps a lot of if you've read those recently. Overall I find it not quite to the level of Connelly's other work, but the very final twist he reveals in the last few pages strikes me as an interesting way to ...more
