This is a very light read about a 10 year girl who travels to England from Portugal to start boarding school. The train trip effects the rest of the story.
The story reminded me of Rumer Godden's books. I only gave this book 3 stars because I wasn't exactly blown away by it, maybe if I had read it when I was younger at 11 - 14 (when I read Rumer Godden's books), I would have enjoyed it more. ...more
