An excellent story, this book is a must for anyone who wants to read about World War II situations, the choices people have to make against their will in times of crisis, the War as it was in Italy, and the tragedies and triumphs that occur against a backdrop of horrible living conditions. Based on a true story, this book will have the reader turning pages as fast as possible to find out what happens.
