What Members Thought
Could have given it 4 stars except for my not being interested in the music/composing parts (I know, this is a biography of a composer...) Was quite the eye-opener of Russian history, both before and during WWII. Stalin's horrific rule which lead to millions of deaths, the siege of Leningrad, starving hundreds of thousands. Very well written, supposedly for teens/young adults, which probably kept it from being dry and overly wordy.
