Geared more for people in Europe, this was still an enjoyable listen that describes a way of life that may bring more peace. I already practice mindfulness and many aspects of Hygge, but I tend not to invite as many people in to our home, so this has given me something to think abut. As an introvert. I really do get exhausted if I don't have time alone to recharge and though this is specifically addressed in the book, it really seems to correlate more with my Meyers-Briggs personality type than

This book was all of 3 CDs - and it was a bit repetitive. Very simplistic but hard to disagree with the ideas. Spend a lot of time with family and friends, use candles all the time, share comfort food and warm drinks. Hygge can also be used as an adjective - like Hyggepants - the ones you would never be seen in public wearing but are secretly your favorite pants. Included a little travel section on Copenhagen and it did sound like a wonderful city to visit.

There didn't seem to be much depth here. Moral of the story: have good lighting, curl up next to a fire, spend time with friends, enjoy life.
