What Members Thought
Lots of interplay between Cork and his wife in this one. Seems they both can be tempted and haunted by their past.
One of those stories that starts with an attention- grabbing moment, then goes back in time to show how the characters got to that point. This book didn’t get my attention as well as the previous ones. There were a few similes that jarred which hasn’t happened with this author before, and the ending- not fair at all. In fact not an ending and demands that the reader get hold of the next book to see what happened. So much for this series each standing alone. But then again that was my construct,
