This is the second book in the Shades of Magic series. I liked the first book but this book was so boring for the first 350 or so pages. Nothing happens during those pages except a lot of characters dithering around with no development. When the magical games finally start the book becomes somewhat interesting. I liked the idea of the different Londons but this book barely touches on the other worlds staying almost entirely in Red London. I liked Lia in the last book but this time around found h ...more

Excellent second book in the series. A lot of great follow-up to the characters. It is going to be hard to wait for the next one!
