I adore Theodore Dreiser and all his glory.
This is the story of life and reality. It is hard to believe this book was written 100 years ago because so much of it could be applied to the world today if you take a minute to step back and look at economics. That is what is amazing about Dreiser, he was not writing about a specific incident, he was writing about the nature of humanity and society.
