Leah Remini is a true badass. I'm glad I decided to read this book in Internatonal Women's Week - it felt so right.

Remini told an inside story of Scientology - a topic that fascinated me for a long time, and from this book I know more about the organization - all the crazy, shocking stories- from being a child labor to spending millions of dollars to follow the courses. I was drawn in to reading this just because of the mysterious "aura" that surrounds the whole scientology culture ... and the face that Tom Cruise is at the forefront of that culture :)

I loved her voice - loved how bold and in your face she was and also how down to earth she seemed. She ...more

Leah Remini is one ballsy chick

This book is as fascinating as it is disturbing. I admire the hell out of Ms. Remini. Leaving something she had been so immersed in for so long had to have been incredibly difficult. Well done.

This book is insane and hearing it in Remini's own voice I think adds an extra element that really brings it to life. ...more
