This is a stunning and important novel. There isn’t enough to say how well written, heartbreaking, and eye opening this is. It’s really so well done.
A family of 5 boys - until there were only 4. Or were there 5!? Get ready for an emotionally spun story that takes you into the lives of this family told through the POV of the mother, as well as Claude/Poppy. 4.5 stars. It feels a little too neat at the end. I wish life worked that way, but it doesn’t. Then again, it is a fairy tale.
