This one is a good one to read rather than listen to because it keeps changing time frames and the same characters appear in most of them. I thought I would learn a bit more about book binding and repair than I did but it was a good story with only a few hiccups.
This was a clever book about antique books, booksellers and all the greed and corruption that goes along with it. It also brought up the issue of really good forgeries and where they fit in. So in it's center, it was a mystery, but it also contained a sweet love story. I am very tired however of books that take place in three separate times and the author has us keep switching between eras. I find it hard to understand all the praise for this book. Lot of detail on antique books, provenance, Shakespeare, etc. and a mundane mystery thrown in. A disappointment, guess it just wasn't my cup of tea,had to skim through the last parts just to finish.
