4.5 stars. I thoroughly enjoyed this book about how music (in this case, a choir) helped an English community overcome grief and fear in the face of the Nazis in WWII.

And, OF COURSE!! Of course! The first patient after Dunkirk is gay--so openly gay that he risks his lover being arrested to use his last words to send his ring to him. UGH And no chance of the nurse being accused of stealing t ...more
