I've learnt through reading this book so much more about South Korea's recent history and had a glimpse in the social and mass movements. I liked it a lot due to these novelties (for me), as well as the beautiful writing of Han Kang. The only thing which prevented me to grant the full 5 stars rating was the lyricism of the novel and the way the narrative line is presented.
