My No-So Perfect Life is an amusing story about a likable girl from the English countryside who gets her first London job. It isn’t too glamorous, but she pretends that it is on Instagram and to her dad. She doesn’t want to disappoint anyone, even herself. Things don’t work out well and she ends up back at home, telling her dad she’s on sabbatical. This book made me so happy. It's the perfect chick-lit/fluffy read. I had almost given up on Sophie Kinsella, as I wasn't finding her books like they were in the beginning. But this one changed all that! This is a well written, interesting, feel good story with a perfect happy ending :)

Katie Brenner has an entry level job doing product branding. She has a tiny apartment and a horrible commute. Her boss seems perfect but half the office hates her. Katie is fired and ends up moving back to her family farm and helping them set up a glamping business. There was of course a cute guy at her old job and he shows up at Katie's new job as does her former boss. I liked Katie and the book was a quick read though it was rather long.
