What Members Thought

Expectation: will love.
Actual evaluation: liked.
Transformation novels are my favs. I’d thought, hoped really, that The Awakening of Miss Prim might rise to the top of my all-time fav book list, but that did not happen for me. The characters, the setting...these were all a little too unlikely, and I couldn’t quite accept them as real. I wasn’t crazy about any of the characters either, and that was a problem.
Then again, it could just be me.

She is 'that kind of woman', or a 'woman like herself'. And yet her actions betray her. She says she is not a feminist but joins a feminist group, she is against marriage but after only 2 months in town she decides to get married, she NEVER lies but then she lies, she is not a Thomist but in order to marry her employ
