I really enjoyed this book. It is so well-written! Blue Echohawk is a high school senior who has had a difficult past. She doesn’t know her real name or anything about her real family. She has created emotional walls to protect herself and pretends she doesn’t care. Her new history teacher is a young British man and a gifted storyteller. She can’t help but listen as he teaches the stories in history and encourages his students to write their own personal histories.
