This author, like Sarah Black, relays a story to me that makes me take a look at my life and reevaluate my history and priorities.
Skylar is such a wonderfully developed character that takes us on his journey of learning about his culture, his history, and who he is as person...and he does all of this with open arms. The secondary characters provide depth and richness and you start to love them all as well...and Rafael just breaks my heart.
