Jaine Austen is a free lance author, mainly helping people with their resumes. Howard Murdoch asks Jaine to write him a letter that will get him a date with the hot aerobics instructor Stacy Lawrence. Howard gets the date but he's arrested for her murder after he's found holding a bloody thigh master over her bludgeoned body. Jaine thinks Howard is too much of a wuss to commit murder so she begins investigating the crime herself. Jaine rubbed me the wrong way and I didn't find this book very fun
