It sort of feels like visiting an old friend when I read any of the Lucy Stone series.
In this mystery, Lucy Stone gets entangled in trying to find out how a friend of hers was killed. Was it murder, arson, or an accident? As she gets her family ready to attend the town's Halloween party, held in a dilapidated old mansion, she finds herself getting closer to the answers she needs - but answers that she may not like. This is another good cozy from Leslie Meier.
