Connelly gives his readers a good look at the law from the defense lawyer's viewpoint in this one. And pulls off a great ending.

I may be a serious nerd, but I really appreciate the way Connelly lays out the nuts and bolts of what a defense attorney actually does and the way the business side is run - it sheds a lot of light that you don't normally see in popular depictions of the profession. Another solid entry in a promising series.

A courtroom drama that grabs you in a chokehold and doesn't let go until the final page is turned. If you want a book to make your weekend, this is it. What a book! Connelly is awesome.
