What Members Thought
3.5 stars. The story is hard to like because it's about the relationship between a 14 year old girl and a 45 year old man. But the writing is stellar. The way the book is structured, alternating past and present timelines, allows the story to unfold in a really interesting way. There is also a lot about dance and ballet which some readers who have no dance background may have trouble understanding.
