This is an important story to tell and well done. As a child Chester Nez (English name) grew up on the Navajo reservation in New Mexico. He grew up with traditional ways and speaking Navajo, which is an extremely complicated, unwritten language. As a child he was taken from his peaceful home where is family herded sheep to a boarding school where the matrons were meant to. He didn’t get enough food and there were bullies.
