To be honest, I wasn't really all that excited to read this. I'm not a great one for celebrity memoirs, but I feel I had a Girl Responsibility to read it. Plus, I somehow got on crazy early on the library holds list, and just needed something light for a holiday. It's shorter than I expected, so I blew through the 200 pages in far less than a day.

I liked the Gilmore Girls series, and I liked this book. Lauren Graham talks about getting into her career, interesting and funny things that happened on the Gilmore set, and information about the filming of the reunion episodes.

Gilmore Girls fan here. Enjoyed the series and watched reruns with my daughter when she moved back home after college graduation. It was fun to hear Lauren describe the series from a behind the scenes perspective. She added some unique reactions and observations to daily events -- like using your cell phone.
