Compelling, but disturbing. When I reached the halfway point and decided to call it a night, I genuinely wondered whether I was going to pick it up again come morning. But, as I said, Pollock's writing is compelling and well-crafted and so many other words that basically equate to me being sucked in to his world and sticking it out to the end. ...more
