Pretty typical Joe Pickett book. Road trip audio book. Nate popped up just a bit and just in time. Sheridan had a small part while she is in college at university of Wyoming. Her part could have been left out without issue. As an RA she has concerns about a boy on her floor and his actions. Joe’s MIL Missy also pops up on the arm of a rich bad guy and she is as hateful and evil as ever. All the corrupt bad guys lose in the end including a game warden with a disabled daughter.
