What Members Thought
I have to admit to being a smidge disappointed with this installment of the Kinsey Milhone series. The book description leads one to have certain ideas about the book's content. However, the premise of a serial killer is only a part of the book and it was given short shrift IMHO. I liked the two sub-stories - Henry's new neighbors and the Xankis. The serial killer story just felt like another sub-story when it should have been the 'meat' of the book.

X is Sue Grafton's latest mystery. You know the drill. If you are like me, there are times when you just want the drill. A week like this one sent me happily turning pages in X. Grafton has grown as a writer since her A-E days, I think. Nice intertwining of several clever mysteries, one of which looks as if it will reappear and continue in Y.

Kinsey is finally faced with technology in this one, but pretty primitive stuff compared to today's sophisticated gadgets. The troubles that besets this round of characters is timeless however.
