My 9 y.o. and I recently read aloud and loved "One Crazy Summer," so of course we couldn't wait to read "P.S. Be Eleven." It was just as good as the first book, if not better. The book transported us into the shoes (and heart) of sixth grader Delphine Gaither, who lives on Herkimer Street in Brooklyn, NY, in the late 60s.
