I was looking for something light to read after reading books about the Holocaust and WWII. This fit the bill. It takes you for a thriller ride and makes you forget your life for awhile. It is a good book to take on a plane or on a vacation. I did get annoyed at the main character in the beginning but then the author did a good job explaining who she was as a person.

This was NOT a good audio book - it would have been much better read. Most of the book was the main character's ruminating about what was happening, what kind of danger she was in , who did it, and on and on. Lo Blacklock is a travel journalist covering the inaugural trip of the niche cruise ship the Aurora on its trip from England to Norway. The ship only has 10 cabins. Lo becomes concerned when the woman in the cabin next to hers disappears, possibly murdered. I figured out who the bad guy was fairly easily and was rather annoyed by Lo. I also thought the ending was kind of ridiculous. I didn't like the audio book narrator. I found all of her accents to be annoying and distracting from the story.
