3.5 really. I started this book and didn't read anything else until I finished it, so the story kept me engrossed enough to keep reading. I do think that I would read another book by this author.

A really compelling mystery which flits back and forth in time and told from various points of view. This adds to the intrigue and gives clues along the way for the reader to consider. Due to the moving around in time, I'd recommend reading a physical book rather than ebook because you will want to flick back to work out the timeline

All in all a good story, not really a "thriller" but a page turner nonetheless. I found the main character, the widow, unlikable tho and wasn't at all sympathetic toward her.

Really 3.5 stars. I knew how this was going to end, but I wasn't sure how she was going to get there, and then the entire ending felt rushed. I don't know. The first 85% was really enjoyable.
