These books are fun! They are like mind candy - I love them and just can't get enough, even though they are implausible and require the reader to suspend your disbelief every time Stephanie blows up another car (never her fault!). Ranger and Morelli still have the requisite 'hotness' and Grandma Mazur and Lula are wackier than ever. These books are so addicting that I read this one in one day, not being able to stop turning the pages. Now I can't wait for the next one!

I think that Evanovich is churning the books out too quickly. The story often does not flow and jumps around but I have gotten to know Stephanie so well that I will likely continue to read. I know that cars will be destroyed, Ranger will say "Babe", Lula will have crazy fashion sense, Morelli is a hottie, and Grandma Mazur will be on the front row of the visitation. Mind candy, salty potato chip fun, quick read fun (summer beach lit)... but not much new here for the series. A book for fans. New readers should start at the beginning.
